Upcoming Meetings: The GSG Judiciary Committee will meet in TCC 224 from noon-1pm the following Fridays during April: April 5 and April 19.
Food from Lemonade is served at all meetings

Mission: The Judiciary Committee collaborates with GSG committees, the Senate and Executive Board to enhance organizational operations and represent the USC student body to state and federal decisionmakers. We achieve this mission through updating the GSG bylaws and constitution to enhance organizational functioning, developing recommendations to improve GSG programs and advancing USC student interests through legislative advocacy.
Goal 1: Ensure GSG constitution and bylaws are updated and revised by end of year to reflect GSG name change, consistency of wording across sections etc.
Goal 2: Identify one or more GSG progams or services and develop recommendations for improvement by end of year.
Goal 3: Track legislation supported by the National Association of Graduate and Professional Students (NAGPS) and take action as needed to represent USC graduate student concerns.
These issues include: 1) federal funding for academic research; 2) student tuition and loan legislation; 3) open access to federally-funded academic research; 4) campus safety; 5) expansion of H1B visa issues/immigration reform
