Each poster will be divided into one of three categories and evaluated by a panel of faculty judges. The three categories are: (1) STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), (2) Social Sciences, and (3) Arts & Humanities. The judges will select three winners from each category who will receive fellowships in the following amounts:
First Place: $1,000
Second Place: $500
Third Place: $300
Reminders for presenters:
*If you were unable to attend the Info Session, please download the handout with all relevant information.
*Posters should be no larger than 4 feet by 3 feet and must be mounted on thick, durable material that can stand up on its own (nothing floppy).
*You will only have 2 minutes to explain your research to the judges. Please practice distilling your research into this short time frame. Judges may not be from your discipline, so make sure that you can explain your research to any faculty member.
*You will need to be present only from 12:00-1:30PM on Wednesday April 6th to meet with the judges. If you cannot attend, please find a colleague who can speak to your work and answer questions from the judges.
*Posters will be displayed from 9:00-5:00PM. You will be responsible for setting up and cleaning up your poster. If this is not possible, please email me and we will make other arrangements.
*GPSS is not responsible for lost or damaged posters.
