Welcome to USC! Our newsletters contain information important to graduate students, including changes or announcements to TAP and Travel Grant Programs, information about the Graduate Research Symposium in the spring, and meeting times for our committees, academic and social events! Effective Fall 2013, travel grants applications for both conference presenters and attendees will be accepted on a rolling basis (i.e. no more semester deadline). Funds for presenters will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As soon as you have booked your transportation/accommodation and registered for your conference, you may submit your application for pre-approval.
If you are pre-approved, upon returning from the conference, submit final receipts with your pre-approved application and required documentation for reimbursement. (Note: You may still create a new application even after you have traveled to and from the conference, but your chances of approval are dependent on funds available.)
For conference attendees, applications will be reviewed at the end of the semester after all presenter applications have been reviewed. You are still encouraged to apply early.
